The Cathedral Concert Series is pleased to announce the opening concert of its 43rd Season on Saturday evening, September 15, 2018 at 7:30pm.

Harmonic Brass Munich returns from Germany for a special program at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption on their U.S. Tour. They are known throughout Europe as one of the premier brass quintets, exhibiting depth of musical artistry and exceptional technical precision.

 

Selections are chosen from a vast repertory of diverse musical styles. Several pieces will include the Basilica Grand Organ, played by director of the concert series, Dr. Gregory Schaffer. Music lovers of all ages can enjoy this program within the pristine acoustics and gothic interior of the Basilica – at sunset.

 

All Cathedral Concerts are open to the public with No Admission Charge.

All future concerts will occur on Sunday afternoons at 3pm.
