Three Hundred Thirty-Fifth Birthday

Over a period of many years, Bryan has been an audience-favorite guest artist

on this Cathedral Concert Series. Each program he has given brings

new and virtuoso performances on the 4,000-pipe

Grand Organ located in the North Transept of the the Basilica.

 

Dr. Bryan Mock has been the Organist-Director of Music at Christ Church Glendale

since 1983. Since that time he has developed a comprehensive

music ministry that involves many volunteer musicians in four choirs: 

Adult, Teen Women, Children, and Handbells.

 

He earned the Bachelor of Music degree from Western Michigan University,

and the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the

College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.

 

Dr. Mock was Associate Director of the Cincinnati Boychoir from 1994-2009,

and Assistant Adjunct Professor of Music at the

College-Conservatory of Music from 1998-2008. 

 

In addition to his duties at Christ Church Glendale, he was the national

President of the Association of Anglican Musicians and

Dean of the American Guild of Organists in Cincinnati.
